Iran Press/Europe: Last night, the Greek island of Telos brought racism, and Islamophobia to the fore when the Greek Coast Guard rescued 106 illegal migrants, many of them children and women, reportedly the immigrants are from Syria.
On this occasion, a woman at the port who described herself as Greek from the city of Athens, who was on the island of Telos for tourism and fishing with her husband at the harbor, started shouting as she saw the refugees. "Throw them in the sea" and also started making videos of refugees.
Maria Kama, the female mayor of Telos Island, who was at the port, immediately took strict notice of this, asked the woman's name and address, and gave her a stern answer, asking her to leave her island immediately, saying, 'Madam, this island is not for you".
The mayor of Telos tried to convince the woman, but the tourist instead lectured him that we should keep our country and land Greek, that we are Christians, and that "they" have no place here.
