Iran Press/ Iran news: "The situation of oppressed Muslims in India is regrettable," Shia Marja Grand Ayatollah Hossein Noori-Hamedani said in a statement.
"Unfortunately, these heinous crimes are being carried out in the silence of the international media, and the heads of Islamic countries, and human rights organizations are just watching these calamities without any reaction," he added.
Ayatollah Noori-Hamedani has emphasized, "With all its ancient history and culture, the Indian people will undoubtedly maintain a peaceful life that has been intertwined throughout history with different religions and will not allow anyone to create a dividing in that country, and creating a schism."
"It is hoped that the Indian government will end this issue as soon as possible by taking into consideration the ancient culture and history of its people in the fight against arrogance and colonialism and that the Muslims of that country continue to live and work there as before. We condemn any killing and discrimination," Grand Ayatollah Hossein Noori-Hamedani noted.
