Iran Press/ Iran news: The Iranian Government Spokesman, attending his weekly press brief on Tuesday, in response to told Iran Press, Ali Bahadori-Jahromi highlighted the role of the people in various fields, including elections.
Bahadori considered the role of the government to be the most important in increasing people's participation in the upcoming elections and noted that the government and parliament are trying to improve the living conditions of the people.
He further said that the glorious presence of the Iranian nation can enhance the endeavor of parliament with a pre-planned schedule to solve the country's issues.
The government spokesman said the people of Iran, with their direct votes, elect their representatives and form the next parliament according to the constitution.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is getting prepared to hold the 12th parliamentary election in the country on March 1, 2024. Nearly 15,000 candidates will compete with each other to take 290 seats in the Iranian Parliament. 219
