Golestan (IP) - The people of Gomishan in the Golestan province, north of Iran, created a dyke to prevent water from entering the residential areas.

Iran Press/Iran news: The people of Gomishan built this dyke, which is 4 km long, in just one day.

Golestan province in the north of Iran has been flooding for days and people are fighting flood with the help of relief and armed forces.

The city of "Aqqala" is also surrounded by water in Golestan province and efforts continue to drain the water from the city.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari visited the flood-hit areas of Golestan province on Tuesday. 104/213
