Iran Press/ Iran News: The excerpt of today's march resolution is as follows:
22nd Bahman (February 10), this beginning of God's rule over the world by the hand of divine power and under the banner of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his holy reappearance), inspires the fulfillment of the promises of victory by God Almighty, one of our great national and religious eids and a source of pride for all the oppressed, free men and women of the world which is deservedly respected all over the world.
The great founder of this stable and glorious Islamic revolution rightly called it the beginning of the dismantling of the tyrannical system of the Pahlavi dynasty and a manifestation of the great movement of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The resolution reads: "While reminding the leaders of global infidelity and arrogance, especially the Democratic government of the United States, about the gross miscalculations that they have had from the beginning of the formation of the great Islamic movement to the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, to successive seditions and failed wars and disgraceful defeats, we announce with strong determination and jihadist and faithful perseverance, in this 'economic battle', we will prevail."
The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is celebrated on Bahman 22nd, according to the Iranian calendar, every year. It commemorates the protests that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi regime and the establishment of the Islamic Revolution by Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace).
