In a statement issued on Thursday, Iran's foreign ministry said: “The desperate attempts to create doubt and division and to sustain the psychological propaganda of anti-Iran circles aimed at disrupting national unity in Iran is not something that they and the novice Saudi ambassador could count on."
Earlier, the anti-Iran remarks by Saudi Arabia's ambassador to US was published by the London-based Asharq al-Awsat newspaper.
The foreign ministry statement went on to add that the Iranian nation is well aware of the services of the country’s dedicated officials and will never pay any heed to such “ignorant and amateurish accusations and fabrications” and “worn-out tactics” which are designed by the enemies’ uninformed so-called think tanks and republished by anti-Iranian media.
