The Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to international organizations based in Vienna, noted that the West can not demand the implementation of Iran's obligations under the nuclear agreement, which they themselves do not respect in lifting sanctions against Tehran.
He emphasized that even the IAEA's reports could not provide any legal basis for such unjustified requests.
In response to a report by IAEA's director, Gharibabadi stated that there are four safeguards issues between Iran and the IAEA, he advised the organization to maintain its independence, impartiality and professionalism.
Rafael Grossi, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), claimed in a report on Tuesday evening that the IAEA's activities in Iran had been severely weakened.
Following the unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA on May 8, 2018, by US former President Donald Trump's order, Iran tried to maintain the nuclear agreement, provided that the other parties to the agreement adhered to their obligations, but the Europeans failed in the practical measures to keep their side of the deal. 219
