Iran Press/ Africa: The program began with a beautiful recitation of excerpts from the Holy Quran.
The celebration includes singing eulogies as well as the distribution of sweets and treaties.
In addition to these festivities, there was an educational program for children. Sheikh Muhammad Kabir speaker explained that “the gradual disappearance of faith, sincerity, and truth called for his advent, and as such, He is been sent so that the truth of faith may be re-established in the world and Islam may be saved from the attacks of philosophers, naturalist, atheists and the like”.
Sheikh Nuhu Issah Bandaho was the guest speaker he highlighted on brief history of Imam Mahdi touching on different aspects of his life.
Sheikh Bandaho said, “Imam Mahdi (AS) is the Imam of the time”. He further explained the narration which states that whoever dies not knowing the Imam of the time ( Imam Mahdi ) dies the death of ignorance. He also spoke on the birth of Imam Mahdi and also spoke on recommended activities during the Major occultation (ghaibah Kubrah) of Imam Mahdi.
Imam Mahdi is known as the Savior, who Muslims believe will reappear on earth as per divine decree, establishing peace and ridding the world of injustice, discrimination, and other instances of evil. 204
