Accra(IP): Followers of Ahlulbayt in Ghana celebrate the birth anniversary of Fatemeh Zahra (AS) the daughter of the holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him and his Progeny) in various towns of the country.

Iran Press/Asia: The celebrations began a week ago in multiple locations.

In Greater Accra, festivities were held at the office of the Shia national Imam, featuring lectures and poetry dedicated to the Queen of Paradise and wife of Imam Ali, Fatemeh Zahra.

Hajia Mallama Fati Rashad Jallo recited verses celebrating the birth of Fatemeh Zahra (AS), while various scholars delivered speeches on her life and legacy.

Hazrat Zahra, the only daughter of the Prophet Muhammad and Hazrat Khadija, was born around 612 or 615 CE and martyred six months after her father's passing. She had two sons Hassan and Hussain.

Since her martyrdom, Lady Zahra has been regarded as a role model by activists from all backgrounds for her steadfastness in standing against oppression and injustice.
