Iran Press/ Iran News: Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, in a message to the Speakers of parliaments of Islamic countries, expressed hope that on this holy Eid, which is a manifestation of the unity, empathy, and common language of Muslims and a symbol of the authority and greatness of the Muslim world, the hearts of Muslims to be close to each other and their steps on the way to reach the lofty goals of Islam should be established.
The Speaker of Iran's parliament stated: "With deep solidarity and practical unity, the Islamic Ummah will be able to achieve the decline and destruction of the Zionist regime and the realization of the lofty Islamic ideals, especially the liberation of the Holy Quds.
According to the office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, today is Friday corresponding to the 30th of Ramadan 1444 AH and tomorrow is Saturday, Eid al-Fitr.
A number of Islamic countries, including Iraq, Oman and Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maghreb, and Brunei, also announced Saturday as Eid al-Fitr after the Shawwal crescent was not seen.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Syria, UAE and Türkiye, Egypt, Kuwait, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan announced Friday as the first of Shawwal and the day of Eid al-Fitr.
