Iran Press/ Iran news: On the threshold of the National Day of Women, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said on Wednesday that a strong Iran is subject to a strong family system, describing women as the "pivot" of the family.
Making the comments in a speech at the 'Family, Future, Sustainable Connections International Conference' at the IRIB Conference Hall, Tehran, Ghalibaf referred to what is going on in the West as US-Israeli-cooked human rights that just led to the collapse of families in the West and an all-out genocide in Palestine's Gaza.
The crisis of the family in the West is characterized by a significant transformation in human and ethical values, leading to a changing definition of family. The shift may involve challenges like the balance of inheritance and responsibilities among children, as parents adapt to new societal norms and expectations. The loss of traditional family structures and roles has contributed to this crisis, impacting social cohesion and individual well-being.
He then again referred to the issue of women in the Islamic Republic as an opportunity, and even for, noting that if the "spirit of femininity" in society is focused on and protected, women will be influential in all governance and cultural issues.
"Today, we proudly say that the presence of women in the political, scientific, artistic, and sports arenas has been accentuated thanks to the Islamic Revolution," the Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf said.
The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) daughter Lady Fatima (SA) is the National Day of Women and Mothers in the Islamic calendar of Iran.
