Doha (IP) - The Iranian foreign minister held talks with the Emir of Qatar to discuss issues of interest to the two countries along with the Palestine issue as the core of discussion.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in continuation of his regional tour, met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, to discuss the attacks of the Israelis on the Gaza Strip.

Iranian diplomat thanked Qatar's role in Tehran-Washington's prisoner exchange agreement and the release of Iran's frozen funds.

Pointing to the call between the Iranian president and Qatari Emir and his regional tour, Amir-Abdollahian underlined the ending of the apartheid regime's massacres against the Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

Elsewhere, the Iranian diplomat emphasized the urgent Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting.

The minister warned that in case Tel Aviv continues its crimes, the condition will be out of everyone's control.

The Iranian official added that the U.S., which asks the involved sides to refrain, keeps backing the Israeli regime.

Iranian chief diplomat pointed to his talks with the resistance heads where the heads said that based on the humanitarian and the Islamic approaches the captives will be treated.

Qatari Emir, for his part, expressed concerns over the condition in the Gaza Strip, saying that Qatar's priority is to stop violence in the Gaza Strip.

"Qatar's approach has not changed toward Palestine," said Bin Hamad, adding that the occupying regime is responsible for its crimes.

Earlier yesterday, Iran's Foreign Minister met Qatari officials, including the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement.

Iranian top diplomat had visited Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria, and held talks with high-ranking officials, emphasizing the cooperation and unity of the resistance axes against the recent crimes of the Israeli regime.

Upon the retaliatory Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on October 7, the Israeli regime ordered the cut of water, electricity, and food supply to the Gaza Strip, and went through the full siege of the area.

So far, more than 2,300 Palestinians have been martyred and 8,714 injured with 724 children and 458 women among them.
