Flights over Iran's airspace increases to 1,800 daily flights

Tehran (IP) - The CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company said that the capacity of flights passing through the Iranian sky increased to 1,800 flights per day, with the possibility of crossing 132 routes.

Iran PressIran news: Siavash Amir-Makri added: "Iran's sky is very favorable for European flights to East Asia, provided that the cost of travel from Iran's sky is affordable for airlines."

The CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company said: "According to the formula that includes the aircraft's weight, the length of the route, and a fixed coefficient of dollars, we have determined the transit rate. But we have to shorten the routes and consider discounts for foreign airlines to make Iran's skies cheaper than other countries."

The CEO of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company added: "We got the discount permit from the Iranian government last year and now we are looking to shorten the routes."

"Iran has the most no-fly zones among the countries in the region, and we must consult with the armed forces to reduce the routes," he noted.
