The first joint exhibition of Iranian and Sulaymaniyah women's handicrafts kicked off in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

Iran PressIran news: The first joint exhibition of Iranian and Sulaymaniyah women's handicrafts was inaugurated with the presence of Hama Saeed, Minister of Culture and Youth of Kurdistan Region, Mehdi Shoushtari, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sulaymaniyah, Governor Haval Abubaker, and Azad Mohammad Amin, Chairman of Sulaimaniyah Provincial Council.

This exhibition will last for ten days in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sulaymaniyah and the Kurdistan Workers' Union.

Twenty-five artists from Iran, with 35 artists from Sulaimaniyah, have presented their works in the exhibition.

The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announcing its readiness to support such joint cultural cooperation, expressed hope that holding these cultural events will help develop the cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iraqi Kurdistan region. 219
