Earlier, the body of martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and his companions, who were assassinated by the US, arrived in the city of Kerman for burial at his hometown.
At least 7 million people in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Monday 6 January took to the streets to bid farewell to Martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani. and his companions at the event, according to preliminary estimates and field surveys.
Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of the Iraqi government, was martyred in the US drone terrorist attack.
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated by direct order of US President Donal Trump along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
