Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Finance says there is no problem in the process of exporting and importing goods, but the process has been further facilitated.

Iran PressIran news: In his weekly press conference on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Ehsan Khandouzi told reporters about the status quo of the country's customs activities, rejecting some reports that the export and import of goods have been hindered. 

Khandouzi said that based on the customs, the country has %53 billion of real imports within the 11 months of the current [Persian] year, which shows a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.

With regard to the duration of the goods clearance from the customs organization's stores, Khandouzi said the clearance of the goods for export was reduced from one day to 4 hours, and for imports, the duration was reduced from 7 days to 3 days. 

There may be delays in process of registration of the imports and exports and the time needed to allocate the necessary currency.
