Iran Press/ America: The former assistant director for national security in the White House Office of Science and Technology, Frank N. von Hippel expressed hope that the European troika resists US efforts to enable the snap-back mechanism in the UN Security Council.
Hippel referred to the Natanz incident and described it as an act to provoke Iran, noting that the Israeli regime is cooking a bigger plan that is drawing the US to a military confrontation with Iran.
The professor of Princeton University commented on the JCPOA as a solution which the Israelis destroyed and continue its destructive actions.
He expressed hope that the US would return to the diplomatic path, saying: "Yet it will not be possible as long as the current US administration is ruling."
Talking about whether Britain, France, and Germany had done enough to maintain order, the former US official said: "I really can't answer that question because I don't know what the circumstances are, but I can say without a doubt that their performance has been disappointing."
