Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking on Monday during the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ajei referred to the recent interventionist remarks of the US President against the nation and system of Iran, saying: "It is very funny and ridiculous that the President of the United States, with extensive and decades-long records of crimes against human beings around the world, and especially crimes against the Iranian people, is speaking against Iran like this".
The chief of the Judiciary gave a brief description of the crimes and terrorist acts of the US, the Zionists and some Western countries against the people of the West Asian region and the people of Iran, and specifically mentioned the assassination of Iranian scientists by Israeli agents with the support of the United States.
Referring to the incident that happened in a part of Evin prison, Mohseni Ajei added: "What happened in Evin prison was a crime committed by a few enemy's agents. In the course of this crime, we witnessed that a few people tried to set fire to a workshop that was set up to provide employment for prisoners and help their families. During this incident, they set fire to a meeting hall that was created for the purpose of developing talents and training prisoners".
The high-ranking official noted: "The enemy's agents actually referred to the points that are the strengths of the prisons organization in terms of resocializing prisoners".
Mohseni Ajei stated: "In the last year and a half, many measures have been taken in the field of improving the condition of prisoners and prisons in different dimensions. From job creation and skill training for prisoners and helping their families to improving the health and treatment status of prisoners, especially in the days of the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, in the recent crime that happened in Evin prison, they set fire to the centers that would improve the condition of the prisoners and help their families, and by doing this, while carrying out an action that caused the death and injury of a number of prisoners, they also caused the anxiety of the families of the prisoners."

The chief of the judiciary emphasized: "The workshop that was the place of job creation for prisoners and help for their families in Evin prison will definitely be reopened. I have also tasked the officials of the prisons organization to pay attention to completing the treatment of the injured in the Evin prison incident, even the criminal whose hands are dirty in this matter".
Mohseni Ajei added: "Also, the authorities of the prisons organization are obliged to provide the necessary assistance and support to the families of the deceased and send delegations to meet them. "
The official stated: "In the same hours of the first fire incident in a part of Evin prison, arrangements were made to contact all the prisoners of this penitentiary with their families; However, I again order that if a person in Evin prison has not yet made contact with his family, arrangements should be made for him to speak with his family as soon as possible".
