Iran Press/ Iran news: On the sidelines of a specialized meeting on Iran's actions in fighting against narcotics, in response to Iran Press' question about how European countries can help Iran in fighting against narcotics, Mahmoud Vaezi said Iran had taken good measures in the fight against drugs.
Vaezi added that European countries should know that despite Iran's limitations in fighting against narcotics, these narcotics' destination was not Iran.
He stated that the EU was the main destination of drug transit and that it was necessary for these countries to be safe from this destructive phenomenon.
"Iran always actively participates in international conferences on narcotics, and this indicates Iran's serious will in the fight against narcotics," he said.
