EU holds virtual summit on Syria; 30 June

EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell said in a statement that the "Brussels-4" virtual summit on Syria would be held on June 30.

Iran Press/Europe: Earlier, three conferences on Syria's future were held, and the negotiating parties pledged to send financial aid to Syria.

In the third round of the summit (March 2019), $ 7 billion was raised to help Syrian refugees.

The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive offensive by Saudi-backed terrorist groups, the United States and its allies to change regional equations in favor of the Zionist regime. The crisis displaced millions of Syrians.

One of the main consequences of Syria's nine-year crisis was that nearly half of Syria's 24 million people were displaced by widespread violence and inhuman treatment by terrorist groups fleeing their homes inside and outside the country.
