US economic terrorism BEAST must be contained: Iran's Shamkhani
Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said that new terror policies of the United States are aiming to undermine identity and sovereignty of other nations and the savage beast of US economic terrorism must be contained.
Iran Press/Europe: Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani has travelled to the Russian city of Ufa to attend the 10th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues.
According to Iran Press report, Ali Shamkhani said in the meeting that “the form and the nature of security threats have changed” and regretfully, we are witnessing a sharp increase in new and combined (or hybrid) threats.
“New security threats go beyond any land, sea or aerial border and today, a malware can perform as an atomic bomb,” he said; adding that “Today, warmongers are provided with new warfare tools beside their previous conventional and unconventional weapons”.
The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council went on to say: "Today, Trump’s America is the most belligerent and militaristic nature than ever before and with its “unilateralism and extraterritorial sanctions, the US is putting international peace and order in jeopardy”.
He added that United States uses Monetary and banking systems and international financial networks as a weapon to invade independent countries.
Shamkhani also mentioned that US has turned its Treasury Secretary into a War Secretary and it is necessary for independent countries to create a multilateral mechanisms to resist and stand against this violent, savage beast.
“US has put a part of Iran’s official military in its terror black list, while that force has a clear and brilliant performance in fighting against terrorism while US military and intelligent services are main supporters of terrorism in past decades,” Shamkhani recalled.
Reminding the audience of Iran’s one-year wait in relation to JCPOA to give diplomacy a chance to prevail and the other parties to implement their commitments, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council emphasized that “Iran measures to reduce its obligations were meant to bring back balance to the agreement and we are glad to see that many countries understand Iran’s position and support Iran’s position."
