Vienna (IP) - The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran stated that the Zionist regime, by refusing to join the NPT treaty, has still not placed its nuclear activities and facilities under safeguards, and emphasized: This regime is considered a permanent threat to international peace and security.

Iran PressEurope: According to Iran Press News Agency, Mohammad Eslami said on Monday during the 67th annual meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency's General Conference in Vienna, referring to the continuation of terrorist acts by the Zionist regime against Iranian scientists and peaceful institutions, said: these threats are against the Agency's statutes and the Charter of Nations, and it is necessary for the general manager and the secretariat to show a serious reaction to it.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added: "For years, the Zionist regime, with the unwavering support of certain countries, has been trying to blacken Iran's peaceful nuclear program by falsifying information and diverting the world's public opinion from paying attention to its nuclear arsenals."

Eslami pointed out: Recently, in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime clearly stated that "Iran must face the real nuclear threat" and there is no doubt that the silence of the international community in the face of this regime's repeated threats has caused its recent arrogance, and it is clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers it its right to respond to the arrogance of the Zionist regime.
