Tehran (IP) - ​​​​​​​With the successful implementation of the defined scenarios in the 2025 Maritime Security Belt Joint Exercise, the host and guest naval units conducted a parade over the northern Indian Ocean, paying military honors to one another, concluding the seventh edition of the Exercise.

Why it matters:
The successful conclusion of this international maritime joint exercise represents another step toward the determination of regional countries to ensure sustainable and endogenous security against external threats and to combat maritime terrorism, thereby protecting the interests of regional countries and stakeholders.

The big picture:
Russian ships Razhiv, Tsadi Yupov, and Pachinga, along with the Chinese vessels Bao Tu and Gao Yu, and Iranian naval and aerial units, including the Alvand, Bayandar, Naze, Genaveh, Nayband, Shahid Sayyad Shirazi, Shahid Rouhi, and Shahid Mahmoudi, paraded in front of the Jamaran ship.
