Zarif blasts Europe's claim of complying with JCPOA
Iran's Foreign Minister in three separate tweets slammed the European Troika for their claim of saving Iran nuclear agreement 2015 known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by bringing some fact.
Mohammad Javad Zarif criticized Europeans for their false claims by bringing some fact in separate Twitter messages on Wednesday.
E3 think they’re living in the 19th Century, when they dictated to countries, lied, & got away with it.— Javad Zarif (@JZarif) January 15, 2020
-IRAN triggered the DRM
-IRAN is NOT the one emptying the accord of its substance—the E3 is

In another tweet, Iran's chief diplomat implicitly accused the European Union of inaction and submission to US President Donald Trump's extremist policies.
Here's what E3 HAS been busy w/ since the US left JCPOA:— Javad Zarif (@JZarif) January 15, 2020
✔️Reality Check 2:
- Issued empty statements
- Violated its own laws by bowing to US extraterritorial sanctions
- Ignored Iran's 3 notifications of DRM activation
- Set up INSTEX w/o single transaction
Enough is enough.
He also wrote on another tweet that EU3 claims that it has kept its obligations under JCPOA are baseless.
E3 claims it has kept its obligations under JCPOA.— Javad Zarif (@JZarif) January 15, 2020
- Zero imports of Iranian oil
- Embargoing of Iranian banks & SWIFT disconnect
- Non-implementation of Blocking Statute
- Exodus of European firms in Iran
- Failure to even sell "exempted" food/medicine
Alleging that Iran is not committed to its obligations, France, Germany and the UK launched the dispute mechanism in the Iran nuclear agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The E3 said it won't impose the unilateral 'maximum pressure' sanctions of US President Donald Trump who withdrew from the deal in 2018. Iran reciprocated by scaling back its commitments under the deal.
