Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Judiciary Spokesman Gholamhussein Esmaeili on his weekly presser on Tuesday noted that some of the spies were sentenced to prison, others sentenced to prison and repayment of money that they had received from intelligence agencies.
Referring to spies who were working for British intelligence service and the CIA the spokesman also stated that one of the spies has got death sentence but did not name the spy due to preliminary verdict.
Esmaeili announced the names of those who violated the law and spied for other countries.
He noted, Ali Nafarieh and Mohammad Babapour spying for CIA, and Mohammad Amin-Nasab spying for the British agency sentenced for 10 years. Nafarieh and Babapour also are sentenced to the repayment of 55 thousand dollars that they had received from intelligence agencies.
Esmaeili further added that another spy "we want its name to be unknown" was sentenced to death over sending important and secret information of our country to hostile countries. After being verified by the court we will reveal its name.
He also noted the dispute of Iran-Canada on property issues. The spokesman for Iran's Judiciary also said that they have sent, a letter to foreign ministry declared their readiness for more international cooperation to the recognition of Canadian properties in Iran.
He added, before taking any legal action we asked Canada's government to halt and stop its illegal action over selling Iran's properties there, otherwise we will take the same legal action.
Referring to US abuse of human rights, The Americans have recently tied the condition of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's meeting with Iran envoy to UN, Mr. Takhte Ravanchi by saying the meeting will go ahead if only prisoners are exchanged. We have mentioned and stressed many times that under no circumstances we accept any conditions or preconditions. Regarding prisoners exchange, we have nothing on our agenda." 104/219
