Iran Press/ Iran News: The head of the Sapienza University of Rome Professor Carlo Giovanni Cereti signed a letter of understanding with Iran's Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization in Western Province of Kermanshah, Omid Ghaderi in the ancient and historical site of Bisotun.
As the letter of understanding read, the Italian research team is supposed to start the documentation of 10 historical monuments in Kermanshah.
Professor Carlo Giovanni Cereti told Iran Press correspondent that the documentation of the Historical monument of the Silk Road gives ways to the restoration of them and make the tourism industry boosting.
"The relationship between Iran and Italy dates back to the ancient era when the two countries were known as the two states at the top of the world', the head of the Sapienza University of Rome concluded.
