Some 2,000 protesters marched in Paris on Saturday to rally against Turkey's military presence in Syria's northwestern town of Afrin.

Demonstrators carried banners and placards with slogans in solidarity with Kurds.

The Turkish military says it has established full control over Syria’s Afrin town after more than two months of battles with the US-backed militants controlling Syria’s northern border regions.

The continuous Turkish aggression on Afrin area claimed the lives and wounded more than 1100 civilians, resulting in the destruction of the infrastructure and services especially schools and water pumping station.
