Iran Press/ Iran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 3, 2020, 3,523 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed, out of whom 1,401 of patients were hospitalized," said Lari.
She added that in the past 24 hours, 179 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 26,746.
4,127 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.
"So far, 4,098,161 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted," the health ministry spokeswoman noted.
She pointed out: "Provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamadan, and Yazd are regarded as red zones."
