A massive downpour of hailstones and snow on Thursday afternoon created some rare scenes in Tehran the Iranian capital, with much of the city turning white in a matter of minutes.

Iran Press/Iran news: The huge downpour of hailstones mixed with snow brought joy and delight to the people of Tehran. Police cautioned motorists to be extra careful whilst driving in snowstorm conditions.

The hail and snow created some wonderful scenery in districts of northern Tehran. Check the video showing Thursday's massive downpour. 103
