Iran Press/ Iran news: Despite the western media campaign against Iran, the country's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) was interacting with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the AEOI head said.
On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Mohammad Eslami the head of the "Atomic Energy Organization of Iran" - IAEO - referred to the Head of the International Atomic Energy Agency - IAEA- upcoming visit to Iran and tried to misrepresent the trip in the media.
Eslami said that there were some discrepancies in the centrifuge-design statement, which were well-reviewed and the results showed that there was no serious problem in this regard.
"The second point was that some claimed we have not given response to the agency's demands; the issue was discussed and Mr. Grossi, will come to Iran in the next days on a formal invitation," he added.
Eslami said that the IAEA head should send the Board of Governors a quarterly report on Monday, with the JCPOA-related report being attached soon.
Iran's international nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was signed between the country and the P5+1 group, including Russia, China, the UK, France, the US, and Germany in 2015.
Former US President Donald Trump withdraws from the agreement on May 18, 2018, and re-imposed sanctions on Iran.
