Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that rallies of February 11 to mark the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution portrayed the national unity of the Iranian nation in front of the eyes of the whole world.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking on Monday in a press conference, Nasser Kanani once more congratulated the 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and added: "Fortunately, the large and glorious presence of the great nation of Iran in the celebrations of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, especially in the February 11 rallies, which are held in all big and small cities, the capital and even in the villages was unprecedented."

"Once again, it portrayed the national unity of the Iranian nation in front of the eyes of the whole world and showed that the Iranian nation are still in the scene to support the country and the progressive ideals of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, and support the Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in all circumstances despite the hardships and enmity of the foes and the poisoned and violent propaganda of the enemies against the Islamic Revolution and the system, and they have been in the scene for supporting independence, freedom and the Islamic Republic in the past 44 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution," the official noted.

Kanani noted: "It is a strong message to those who were looking for riots and chaos in Iran and those who made the country the target of their poisonous attacks, and God willing, they have received the message of the nation."

Raisi's visit to China creates a surge in implementing 25-year plan

In response to a question about the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's visit to China, the spokesman stated: "The visit of Mr. President to China at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation is a very important development in the field of bilateral relations between Iran and China."

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman stated: "The trip will be carried out in response to the official invitation of the President of China and, naturally, important and interesting issues of the two countries in various political, economic, commercial and cultural fields will be discussed. The president's intention to visit is of particular importance from the political point of view, and it indicates the existence of a very suitable political atmosphere in the relations between the two countries and an emphasis on the existence of the highest political will on the part of the leaders of the two countries to expand bilateral relations in the areas of interest, as well as putting emphasis on common interests."

He said: "The capacities between the two countries in the economic field are very important. We have signed a 25-year long-term cooperation program between the two countries, and the president's visit to China can create a suitable surge in the implementation of the plans and projects foreseen and contained in this program. This program is a road map that outlines the general path and long-term horizon of cooperation between the two countries, and in this regard, several agreements have been prepared and are being finalized, and good documents will be signed within the framework of this trip between the two countries."

Kanani stressed: "The comprehensive cooperation program of the two countries has brought good and tangible results up to this stage as well as the jump in the field of commercial and economic relations between the two countries in spite of the oppressive sanctions imposed by the United States against the Iranian nation; we witnessed the tangible growth of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries."

The official said: "In the previous Iranian year, we exported more than 14 billion dollars to China, which has grown by 58% compared to the previous year. The amount of imports from China in this same year was slightly more than 13 billion dollars, and generally in the previous Iranian year, we saw about 43% growth in economic and trade relations between the two countries. China was Iran's first export destination and the second source of imports. We signed 7 documents with the aim of deepening economic, mining and export cooperation. We hope that with the President's visit and the negotiations and signed documents, we will witness more steps forward in securing the interests of the two countries in various fields."

About Iran's not being invited to participate in the Munich Conference, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman noted: "It seems that there has been a deliberate violation. If the purpose of holding the Munich Security Conference is to help deepen security in the regional and global spheres, not inviting some countries is a selective action with political motives, and this indicates the continuation of the wrong approach in relation to developments related to Iran, and it will be considered a violation of intent. Moreover, this action is contrary to the principle of neutrality, especially for a country like Iran, which has an important, decisive and undeniable role to play in the field of regional and international security, this action means miscalculation and continuation of wrong behaviors."

About the exchange of Iranian and American prisoners, Kanani also said: "Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, raised some points in this regard that could be raised in the field of media. We showed it in practice by freeing a double-national prisoner by looking at the human condition and respecting his condition, who was also suffering from an illness. Iran showed that it is ready to carry out this action as soon as possible regarding prisoner exchange with a humane perspective. Unfortunately, we did not see any mutual measures and encouragement from the American government. Iran's position in this regard is clear. We hope that the American government will take a serious and clear step to implement this exchange with this humane attitude in the practical field."

In response to a question regarding the Iraqi Foreign Minister's consultation with Iranian FM on the negotiations regarding lifting of sanctions and Fuad Hossein's consultation with US official Robert Malley about these negotiations, he stated: "Regarding the negotiation process, the official, and practical policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is completely clear: "Commitment to the path and the negotiation table for the return of all parties to the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with the priority to remove all the cruel sanctions that have been imposed against the government and people of Iran. In this framework, we moved on the path of negotiations and did what was related to us with good faith. Iran is committed to the path of negotiation, and all parties and the United States must show their good will in practice in the practical implementation of what they declare that they want to return to the agreement, and return to the path of negotiation and return to the implementation of the agreement."

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: "We do not have a direct relationship and dialogue with the American government, we use all diplomatic capacities and the path of diplomacy to realize Iran's national interests, especially in the face of sanctions lifting negotiations. Governments have already played a role in this regard in good faith, and governments are interested in playing a role using the capacity of relations with both sides of the issue. We will always welcome these joint efforts in good faith."

Kanani stated: "If the Iraqi government wants to play a role, we will certainly look at the good intentions of this brotherly and neighborly country with serious diligence and we will use the capacities of the Iraqi government."

In response to another question about the remarks of the French Foreign Minister who called for global action against Iran's missile program, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "We reject projections and such remarks and comments does not have an impact on the process of resolving issues and disagreements and misunderstandings that exist between Iran and European parties."

He noted: "Proposing deviant issues is a distraction for not focusing on basic issues. Iran's missile activities are defensive and based on Iran's legal rights and customs and international standards and regulations, and have nothing to do with the issues that the Western parties may express, especially in the issues related to the sanctions lifting negotiations."

He said about the Leader's pardon for foreign nationals and citizens arrested in Iran: "The arrest of foreign nationals and citizens was made due to violation of national and territorial laws of Iran. Naturally, due to the violation of our country's regulations based on our laws and regulations, such people have been arrested and in this context, the judicial system has issued verdicts about them. Such people have their legal, human and consular rights, and in connection with the pardon of the supreme leader of the revolution, in connection with foreign detained citizens, the judiciary of Iran will take the necessary decision based on its own laws, powers and competencies."

Zionist regime unable to take military action against Iran

In response to a question about the military maneuver between the Zionist regime and the United States, he said: "The Zionist regime has received Iran's seriousness in response to anti-security and aggressive measures many times and has tasted it in connection with the actions taken by this regime alongside the American government. Our tone is clear, any anti-security action against Iran by the US and the Zionist regime, considering that the US government is the ally and full supporter of this regime, the US must be held accountable. Our stance is clear."

Kanani highlighted: "Any action from any source against Iran's national security will be resolutely answered by Iran. Iran will not hesitate to respond to any action taken by any party. This regime should think about its internal situation and the chaotic internal conditions and demonstrations that have been taking place inside these territories for more than 6 weeks. This regime cannot confront the freedom-loving actions of the Palestinian nation not only in Gaza and the West Bank, but also in the 48 territories. This regime is too weak to take military action against Iran and will not dare to take such action and has already tasted the hard blows of Iran."

He also said about the dissolution of Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX): "It was another sign of the non-compliance of the European governments with their commitment to compensate for the illegal and unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA. While the European governments were committed and pledged to compensate for the unilateral withdrawal of the United States and had defined mechanisms such as INSTEX, unfortunately, the European governments did not fulfill their commitment and did not take the necessary action."

Regarding the statements of Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hossein regarding the talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "Our view is to emphasize the continuation of the path of diplomacy to restore the relations between the two important and Muslim countries in the region, Iran and Saudi Arabia, to their natural track. With the common view of the two countries on the need to pay attention to the political path, the role of the Iraqi government was welcomed in this regard, and five rounds of negotiations were held in order to complete the past process and to complete the political process. We respect the role of the Iraqi government and its responsible efforts We welcome the positive steps that the Iraqi government can take and play a positive role, and we hope that due to the role played by friendly countries, including Iraq, we will see progress in the path of negotiations between Iran and Saudi Arabia in the future."

He said about the presence of Parviz Sabeti, head of SAVAK, in the anti-revolution rally in America, which was the question of a reporter: Governments claiming human rights have become safe havens and havens for criminals. A criminal with such a record is in the heart of the country claiming human rights, and if we list the case of the US government's anti-Iranian actions, the list will be long and wide. This is another symbol of the US government's enmity with the Iranian government and nation.

Consultations between Iran ,Lebanon continue

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated about Ali Bagheri's trip to Lebanon: "The trip to Lebanon was made in addition to the regional and non-regional political trips of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to conduct political consultations and consultation in areas of interest between Iran and the target countries. Traveling to Lebanon is the completion and continuation of the process of making such trips. Lebanon is one of the most friendly and important countries in our region. We have important bilateral issues, and Lebanon is an important frontline country in the fight against the Zionist regime and supporting the oppressed Palestinian people. We have conversations with Lebanese friends from different political spectrums. It was an opportunity for Mr. Bagheri to attend the opening ceremony of the new building of the Iranian Embassy and the anniversary of the victory of the revolution and meet and talk with the Lebanese authorities."

The spokesman of the diplomatic agency said about the visit of IAEA Director General Grossi to Tehran: "In connection with IAEA, consultations between Iran and IAEA are established and continue through defined channels regarding common issues. Iran is committed to cooperate with the IAEA within the framework of the Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement and reciprocally expects the IAEA to look at relations and dialogue with Iran from a technical framework based on cooperation and understanding with the Islamic Republic of Iran and not to deviate from the technical path and resort to Avoid statements and actions that suggest political suspicion or pressure."

Kanani said about relations with Europe: Iran is considering developing relations with all geographical areas, including Europe. We are ready to expand relations based on common interests. Path relationships are two-way and have two sides. When the common political will is formed, we can talk about the realization of expanding relations and taking steps forward. Unfortunately, European countries, and to be more precise, a number of these countries, have taken a wrong policy against Iran with wrong calculations. Mutual respect, the equality of countries and non-interference in the internal affairs of others, non-recourse to pressure and means of force, not providing the territory of one's own country to the opponents and opponents of other countries are among the internationally recognized principles and principles for regulating relations between independent countries. Is. Acknowledging the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries is an internationally recognized principle. European countries insist on these principles in their slogans and speeches.

He said: "Europe and several influential European countries can close their eyes and not see and they can cover their ears and not hear. Europe must make the right decision. Be on the right side of history. Our question is which democracy is Europe talking about? Did Europe tell its people and media that nearly 30 million people of Iran are present in the field everywhere in the country in support of their revolution and their independence and sovereignty after 44 years. Europe should decide where the people of Iran are?"

Kanani added: "Is democracy and decisions based on the path of democracy also applied in the European Union? Are decisions made within the European Union democratically? Do a few countries seem to impose their views on the entire Union? Countries that want to maintain their relationship with Iran based on common interests and interests, but under the influence and pressure of a number of European Union countries, they have difficulty in making a decision. The European Union must show in practice that it is committed to internationally recognized principles and has the courage to make independent decisions in relation to Iran. As Iran's diplomatic agency, we used our capabilities and had a clear conversation, expressed our principles and declared our readiness to resolve misunderstandings."
