Sudan (IP) - The Sovereignty Council of the Internal Administration of Sudan supported the political agreement between the military wing of the Transitional Council and the political parties.

Iran Press/Africa: The Sovereignty Council of the Sudan Interior Administration meeting was held in Khartoum on Saturday evening.

Sudan's political framework agreement was recently signed between the military junta and the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) at the Republican Palace in Khartoum, but the people insist on the complete and definite withdrawal of the army from the government.

The political framework agreement is set for two years, which begins with the appointment of the prime minister and ends with the holding of general elections.

Osman Salih, the official spokesman of the Sovereignty Council of the Interior Administration of Sudan, in an interview with IranPress in Khartoum, said: We announce our support for the framework agreement so that the country becomes stable.

Abdurrahman Mozmal, a member of the Supreme Council of the Sudanese Interior Administration, also told Iranpress that we should strive for reforms among the people and their unity within the framework of establishing stability and economic security.

Awad Al-Karim Zayed, another member of the Sovereignty Council, also said: "We are looking for a solution to the problems of the people and citizens. We feel that the framework agreement is very promising, provided no one is left out."
