Iran Press/ Iran News: The meeting was held simultaneously with the 41st anniversary of the terrorist tragedy of June 28, 1981, to explain terrorism in the context of asylum and commemorate the martyrs of the June 28 tragedy in person and a webinar at Yazd University.
Speakers at the meeting on Tuesday stressed the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the severe and real fight against terrorism, referring to some crimes committed by terrorist groups, including the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MeK).
The participants in the meeting stated that Martyr Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the senior commander of the resistance front in the West Asian region, played a key role in defeating ISIS.
They also stressed that Iran is a victim of terrorism and noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is at the forefront of the fight against terrorism.
