Isfahan (IP) - Serbia's Belgrade University Chancellor called for scientific cooperation with Iran's Isfahan University.

Iran PressIran News: Isfahan University, with about 17,000 students and 650 faculty members, is one of the top 5 universities in Iran to be registered at the international level in the country.

The Chancellor of Serbia's Belgrade University, Vladan Đokić, who is in Iran's Isfahan, met with the Chancellor of Isfahan University Hossein Harsij and said the expansion of interaction between the two universities would lead to further cooperation at national and international levels.

Hossein Harsij, for his part, stressed the scientific cooperation of the Isfahan and Belgrade universities, including the exchange of professors and students, conducting research studies, and joint training courses. 

Harsij told his Serbian counterpart that Iran's scientific progress was achieved despite security, economic, and political sanctions, highlighting the high ranks of the Iranian universities in the global ranking systems.
