Africa (IP) - Muslims in Nigeria on Monday have joined their counterparts in Muslim countries across the world to embark on Eid Fitr prayer which marks the end of the 30-day holy month of Ramadan fasting.

Iran PressAfrica: In Bauchi State, thousands gathered at Eid ground to conduct the prayer, led by Sheikh Ahmad Baban Inna, attended by the State and Federal Government officials as well as the traditional leaders.

The Federal Government of Nigeria declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays to enable people to celebrate the Eid festival and visit their relatives and friends.
