Tehran (IP) - Iranian government spokesman on the sidelines of the International Quds Day rally said the Iranian people by appearing on the stage showed that they are defending the Palestinian youth.

Iran Press/Iran News: The International Quds Day rallies began on Friday across Iran and other countries with people from different walks of life showing their solidarity with the oppressed and resilient people of Palestine.

Iranian government spokesman Ali Bahador-Jahromi, in the presence of the lawyers of the judiciary, also signed a petition to prosecute the "Deal of the Century" and registered his name on the list of people who want to cancel it.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, the government spokesman also praised the presence of the Iranian people, who are always on the scene of struggle against arrogance and the Zionist regime, despite the COVID-19.

Ali Bahadori Jahromi also said: "The Iranian people showed their disgust with the usurping Zionist regime by attending the International Quds Day rally." 

Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day in order to survive the Palestinian issue and declare the solidarity of the world's Muslims with the Palestinians and mobilize forces to save Al-Quds from Zionist occupation.

Today, April 29, 2022, coincides with the 27th of Ramadan, 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.
