Iran Press/Iran News: General Esmail Qaani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said today (Friday) during the procession of the International Day of Quds in the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad city: " International Quds Day is one of the best and most spiritual days of the year for every Muslim."
The commander of the Quds Force of the IRGC added: "Quds Day is an International day and it is not a day that is dedicated only to Quds, it is a day for the oppressed to confront the arrogant, and Quds Day is a day when Islam must be revived."
Qaani also said: "Quds Day is becoming more and more elevated every year, and without a doubt, by celebrating this great day and the serious efforts that Muslims make to it, preparations will be made for the liberation of the land of Al-Quds, Palestine, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it will not be long before their absolute freedom is realized.

Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day to survive the Palestinian issue and declare the solidarity of the world's Muslims with the Palestinians and mobilize forces to save Al-Quds from Zionist occupation.
Today, April 29, 2022, coincides with the 27th of Ramadan, 1443 AH, the International Day of Quds.
