At least 32 people were killed and 120 injured after a suicide bomber struck at a protest taking place in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar on Tuesday.

Iran Press/ Asia: The protest was reportedly organized against a local police chief, and was held on the road between Jalalabad city and the Pakistani border crossing.

Emergency workers carried the deceased and injured away from the site of the blast. No one has so far claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.
