Iran, Russia stressed the need to revive initial JCPOA

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian and Russian foreign ministers stressed the two countries' determination to revive the JCPOA in its original form.

Iran PressIran news: In a telephone conversation on Monday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Sergei Lavrov reiterated their determination to revive the nuclear deal in its initial form, approved by the UN Security Council.

According to the two senior diplomats, reviving the international agreement is the only right way to ensure the rights and interests of all signatories of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The latest round of talks of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between Iran and China, Germany, France Britain, and Russia started December 8 in Vienna, Australia.

Iran's focus in the talks is the removal of sanctions against the country.
