Iranian Parliament's Speaker on the sidelines of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUOICM) in Istanbul met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday to discuss bilateral issues.

Iran PressAsia: Recep Tayyip Erdogan who was joined by the Turkish Speaker Mustafa Sentop in the meeting expressed hope that the talks in Vienna, Austria, between Iran and other participants of the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA) to remove sanctions would conclude in a fair way.

He also called on international organizations to help Iran host Afghan refugees fleeing to Iran as a result of the recent crisis in that country.

The Turkish President also hoped that he could visit Iran soon.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that the comprehensive document on cooperation between Iran and Turkey in the finalization process could symbolize the two countries' serious determination to expand ties.

He highlighted Iran's support for the 3+3 format in the South Caucasus and said that all the countries in the region should have good ties with each other.

Moreover, the Iranian speaker pointed that other powers should learn that they can not impose their will on other countries, and if they understand respecting the interests of other sovereignties, a deal would be within reach.
