Saudi coalition attacks kill 18,000 Yemeni civilians: UN

(IP) – A UN-affiliated committee announced in a report that at least 18,000 Yemeni civilians have been killed or wounded in airstrikes since the Saudi coalition invaded Yemen in 2015.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to RT Arabic, experts appointed by the United Nations said in a report to the Human Rights Council that Yemenis have been subjected to about 10 airstrikes a day, or more than 23,000 raids, since March 2015.

The report highlighted that the Saudi coalition carried out all airstrikes in Yemen.

The Saudi coalition has been attacking Yemen since March 2015 under the pretext of restoring legitimacy to the ousted government of Mansour Hadi, placing Yemen under land, air, and sea siege. These aggressions and sieges have resulted in nothing but famine and killing for the Yemeni people.
