Several rockets fired at Kabul airport amid US withdrawal

Kabul (IP) - Several rockets were fired at Kabul airport on Monday and five were intercepted by a missile defense system.

Iran PressIran news: The attack comes a day after the US forces launched the second drone attack in Afghanistan after Thursday’s suicide bombing at the airport that left nearly 200 people dead. At least 13 US troops were also among those killed.

There were no initial reports of U.S. casualties and the Taliban spokesman said there were no reports of Afghan deaths. 

Meanwhile, A U.S. drone strike targeting the ISIS Khorasan, the Afghan affiliate of the ISIS, killed 10 civilians in Kabul, including several small children, family members told The Washington Post on Monday.
