Tehran (IP) – The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that we are in the era of the decline of great powers that consider themselves ahead of the world in terms of science and technology.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exhibition entitled "Lifelong-learning", support and commercialization of technological and innovative capacities of Basijis (voluntary forces), Major-General Hossein Salami stated that Iran must begin scientific and economic independence and leave behind the enemies in scientific progress.

Noting that no countries helped Iran progress, he added that the Iranians achieved progress, freedom, and value.

"Despite all-inclusive sanctions, Iran has been able to meet the needs of society and be a country where there is no sign of any sanctions," he added.

"The main point of our power is the youth who are building the future of the country and have nothing short of lasting stability, progress, and independence," Salami explained.

He pointed out that Iran was powerful in defense and the industrial, scientific, economic, civil, cultural, and political aspects and the whole world.

"We have a wise leadership to reach the peaks of progress and a nation with the will and awareness of knowledge and young people who are responsible and forward-looking in the field of scientific progress," Salami pointed.

He concluded that Iran was the birthplace of a new human civilization based on spirituality, morality, human dignity, freedom, identity, and progress in all areas.

Martyr Fakhrizadeh Exhibition entitled "lifelong-learning", support and commercialization of technological and innovative capacities of Basijis, was held focusing on solving production surge problems in Tehran.
