Sisakht (IP) - Three days have passed since the 5.6-magnitude earthquake in Sisakht city of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, and public aid to the earthquake victims is underway.

Iran Press/Iran News: In addition to government assistance such as providing tents and heating equipment and the travel of Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Mohammad Eslami, to Sisakht to expedite the construction of demolished houses, people are working together to provide the basic food needs for the victims in the cold winter by cooking hot food.

Women are also playing an important role in people's integration by baking bread and preparing food, and distributing them among the local earthquake victims.

Iran's Judiciary Chief, Hojjatoleslam Ebrahim Raisi, also addressed the government and provincial officials on Saturday upon his arrival in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces, saying that serving the people of Sisakht should be a priority.
