Tehran(IP)- The director of Iran's Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism highlighted that a knowledge-based company could help introduce Iran globally.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an interview with Iran Press on how innovation in tourism and handicrafts changes this industry and its extent to tourism and handicrafts' prosperity, Mohammad Khayatian said that tourism is a part of Iran's assets.

He added: "Today, we have taken massive steps to develop tourism-related infrastructures."

Khayatian added that Iran's tourism and handicrafts, as the country's assets have not been introduced to the world as they are, a perfect advertisement is required.

A more important issue than infrastructures, of course, is introducing the country to the world, which can be done through cyberspace, creative and knowledge-based companies, he stressed.

To Introduce Iran's cultural heritage and tourism to draw global attention, cyberspace is a decent alternative, noted Mohammad khayatian.

Knowledge-based companies can dramatically and creatively attract the world's attention to Iran by advertising the country's sightseeing; moreover, they also facilitate traveling and communication, expanding our communication globally, underlined the official.

A ceremony for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support innovation in creative digital businesses in Tourism, Handicrafts, and Cultural Heritage areas was held in Tehran on February 15, 2021, with the director of Iran's  Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Mohammad Khayatian in attendance.
