On Thursday, Thousands of residents of al-Hasakah province in northeastern Syria rallied to protest the continuing Turkish atrocities on Syrian soil and the international community's silence in this regard.

Iran Press/Middle East: According to the official Syrian News Agency (SANA), the participants in the rally expressed their strong opposition to the Turkish military occupation.

They said that by cutting off the water supply network to the city of Al-Hasakah, Turkey is seeking to carry out its evil plans in the region at the cost of the suffering of one million residents of Al-Hasakah and its suburbs.

The citizens of Al-Hasakah stressed at the rally that the crimes committed by Turkey in Syria are not limited to the frequent cutting off of water to the citizens; rather, this occupying regime seeks to harass the Syrian people in any way in order to force them to leave their homes and occupy the villages, settling their mercenaries instead.

"It is surprising that the international community has remained silent in the face of the occupying Turkish regime and its terrorist mercenaries, who are committing the most heinous crimes in the areas of Ras al-Ain, Tel Abyad, Afrin, etc.," the statement said. 219
