The Head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, Sheikh Ali Daamoush, delivered a powerful Friday sermon praising Iran’s resilience in the face of what he described as a "treacherous and brutal" Zionist-American aggression.

In his speech, Sheikh Daamoush drew parallels between the current struggle and the historic Battle of Karbala, stating, "Today, we are facing our own Karbala against a criminal and murderous Zionist enemy that spreads its aggression from one country to another." He emphasized that the recent attack on Iran, carried out with direct U.S. involvement, aimed to dismantle the country’s nuclear program, neutralize its missile capabilities, destabilize the government, and force unconditional surrender.

"They employed deception, misinformation, military might, and internal collaborators, yet they failed," he declared. "Iran emerged stronger, more united, and victorious, defending its sovereignty through steadfastness and missile power."

Sheikh Daamoush dismissed American and Israeli attempts to distort the outcome of the conflict, asserting that their propaganda could not overshadow Iran’s triumph. "Iran has proven itself as a regional power, too great to be broken and too noble to surrender," he said, adding that submission is the way of the weak, not a nation led by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

The Hezbollah official framed Iran’s victory as a win for the Palestinian cause and regional resistance movements, warning that Western arrogance would only fuel greater defiance. "The illusion of subduing Iran and crushing resistance is a futile dream," he stated.

He also criticized certain factions in Lebanon for aligning with Iran’s enemies, saying their bets on the aggression’s success had backfired. "Just as they were wrong about Hezbollah’s defeat, they are wrong now—those who ignore history will find themselves left behind," he concluded.
