According to official judicial sources, Mosayebi was arrested, tried, and ultimately sentenced to death for collecting and transmitting classified information to Mossad operatives in return for cryptocurrency.
Iran's judiciary stated that Mosayebi had established contact with a Mossad handler in a Persian Gulf country and regularly submitted weekly reports through an encrypted communication channel.
