Al-Mayadin news channel reported on Wednesday night, quoting Israeli media, that Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Bahrain has been postponed.

Iran Press/Middle East: The news network reported, citing sources who received the news, that the trip had been postponed at the request of the Manama government.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli cabinet announced on its news website that Benjamin Netanyahu would pay an official visit to the UAE and Bahrain this week to meet with Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain.

The UAE and Bahrain signed a normalization agreement on September 15 in the White House with US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after announcing a settlement agreement with Israel.

Bahrain, which is facing the worst recession in its history following the sharp drop in oil prices and the outbreak of the Coronavirus, has now turned its back on all Palestinian people's cause, demanding help from Israeli businessmen. 219
