Tehran (IP) - The head of the Iranian judiciary's high council for human rights criticized the silence of the UN secretary-general over constant violation of the rights of the Iranian people by the United States and Western governments.

Iran Press/Iran News: Ali Bagheri, the head of the Iranian judiciary's high council for human rights, referred to the efforts of some countries to adopt a human rights resolution in the Third Committee of the UN General Assembly against the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: “Supporters of the solution are countries that support terrorist groups, by all means, the groups whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of Iranians or have implemented illegal and oppressive US sanctions against Iran."

He criticized The UN Secretary-General for removing Saudi Arabia's name from the list of child-killing states which is not compatible with any social and human rights standards.

Bagheri also criticized removing the role of US sanctions on the Iranian people's living conditions by the UN Secretary-General.
